PROCUREMENT OF POWER BACK UP SYSTEM, EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION

1. The Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) follows the general Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared on 5th March 2019 on the United Nations Development Business (UNDB) online and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.

2. The federal government of Nigeria has received financing from the African Development Bank (ADB) in various currencies towards the cost of Inclusive Basic Services Delivery and Livelihood Empowerment Integrated Program (IBSOLEIP) in North East for Federal Ministry of Water Resources & Sanitation (FFMWR&S). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of power backup system and equipment

3. The Federal Ministry of Water Resources & Sanitation Programme Coordinating Unit now invites sealed bids from prospective eligible bidders for the supply and installation of power back up and equipment at various national water information System (NAWAIS) Data Centres located within River Basin Development Authority. The NAWIS project sites are in:

Benin Edo State; Kano Kano State; Makurdi Benue State; Port Harcourt River State; Ilorin Kwara State; Maiduguri Borno State; Owerri Imo State; Sokoto Sokoto State; Calabar Cross River State; Abeokuta Ogun State; Yola Adamawa State; Minna Niger State And Abuja

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the Federal Ministry Of Water Resources & Sanitation (FFMWR&S) Programme Coordinating Unit (PCU), 3rd floor bassan plaza, right wing, adjacent national bureau of statistics central business district Abuja FCT, procurement@afdb-rwssp.ng, fmwrrwssp@gmail.com.

5. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the above Programme Implementation Unit and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30, 000.00) only into the account. 6. The provisions in the instructions to bidders and in the general condition of contract are the provisions of the African development bank standard bidding document for procurement of goods.

7. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12:00noon on 7th October 2024 and must be accomplished by bid security of NGN 5,500. Failure to provide bid security render the bids non-responsive. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” in the amount indicated on the above table.

8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at the conference hall of the address below on 7th October 2024 by 12:30pm prompt

9. Late bids shall be rejected.
