THEME: TECHNOLOGIES FOR MASSIVE GENERATION OF JOBS AND WEALTH CREATION AMONG NIGERIANS
CALL FOR SUBMISSION
INTRODUCTION
In furtherance of tetfund’s mandate in supporting cutting-edge researchers and its application for economic development, it is pleased to announce the maiden edition of the tetfund national research fair
The tetfund national research fair/exhibition aims at bridging the gap between research, innovation and the market. It will showcase practical research outcomes and scalable prototypes to potential investors and entrepreneurs for commercialization. The fair will provide a platform for researchers, innovators, manufacturers, angel investors, venture capitalists and policy makers to interact freely for the overall economic development of the country.
The fair will support and promote homegrown technologies to emerge as businesses and solution providers, which ultimately will reduce the dependence of foreign technologies, save foreign exchange, create massive jobs and generate wealth, especially for the Nigeria’s teeming youth population.
THEMATIC AREA FOR SUBMISSION
The strategic approach for the technology exhibition is to sectorally cluster the submissions as against the traditional institutional display. The following are the cluster themes;

ELIGIBILITY
The fair is open to all Researchers and Investors in Nigeria, irrespective of their affiliations and institutions and is at no cost to participants. Inventions to be submitted must either be instantly ready for absorption by industry or at-least be a scalable prototype. All submissions must be in proper working conditions, as they will be functionally demonstrated at the Fair ground.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
Submission of innovations and interventions designs and other vital information will be received online using a template questionnaire, which can be accessed on the following tetfund website: www.tetfund.gov.ng; www.nrf.tetfund.gov.ng and www.teras.ng.
Please fill and submit the forms along with all other supporting materials. Successful inventors will be invited to attend and present their technologies at the Fair.

The submission portal will be opened from 9th – 30th September, 2024
