REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
PROVISION OF INSURANCE SERVICES (GROUP LIFE ASSURANCE, HEALTH INSURANCE, MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE, ALL ASSETS INSURANCE)
1. BACKGROUND
SAII Associates Ltd/Gte. “SAII”, a company registered under the laws of Nigeria is an associate company of Chemonics International Inc. a contractor for the United State Agency for International Development (USAID). USAID Projects currently implementaed by SAII in Nigreia include the Glogal Health Supply VChain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM), the USAID Lagos Urban Water and Sanitation Hygiene, Famine Early Warning Systems Network 7 (FEWS NET 7) and Frontiers Health Market (FHM ENGAGE).
SAII Associates Ltd/Gte will Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide Insurance Services. The services specifically required include Group life assurance, health insurance for all SAII staff and Interns across Nigeria, Motor Vehicles insurance and Assets in line with relevant statutory laws.
Please note: that this is not a request for proposal (RFP) but an expression of interest (EOI). Only a simple expression of interest should be submitted at this stage. Interested organizations shall be pre-qualified to receive a detailed RFP for the required services based on the criteria outlined below.
2. PURPOSE
SAII Associates Ltd/Gte is requesting expression of interest (EOI) from financially viable and technically competent insurance Companies/Brokers that do not have a proven track record of providing Insurance services or settling claims will not be eligible to receive the RFP. Prequalified vendors will be sent the RFP document which constitutes a formal absorption into the bidding process. We can say “prequalified vendors eligible to bid. SAII reserves the right to award subcontracts.
Organizations interested in being prequalified shall submit ALL the required information and/or documentation listed below.
3. TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
Services will include the provision of Group Life Insurance of SAII Staff and interns in Nigeria, provision of comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance for all SAII Vehicles in Nigeria and provision of all Risks Insurance for relevant asset including Laptops, Phones, POS devices in Nigeria (a list will be shared)
4. PREQUALIFICATION CRITERIA
Organization interested in being pre-qualified and/or receiving the RFP shall submit the following documents and information outlined below, which will be used to prequalify the offerors.
SUBMISSION FORMAT:
The separate sets of he required documentation shall be grouped and outlined under each of the subheadings 1-9 below:

| 4. | Regulatory compliance certificate showing proof that company/broker is up to date with required filing and reporting. |

| 6. | Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) for investigation and settlement of claims with typical timelines |
| 7. | Proof of business registration with Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria, and relevant license with regulatory organizations for staff |
| 8. | Last three years audited financial statements. |
| 9. | Most recent tax clearance certificate |
5. STEPS TO FOLLOW FOR THIS PROCUREMENT ARE AS FOLLOWS:

The EOI must align with requested documentation.
Please note: this is NOT a request for proposals (RFP). Responses to this call for expressions of interest are not binding on SAII and do not obligate SAII to issue a solicitation, nor does it commit SAII to pay any cost incurred in the preparation and submission of comments. Should SAII issue an RFP, only organizations that meet the criteria outlined above and as presented in responses to this EOI will be considered.
