INVITATION TO TENDER
1. INTRODUCTION
The Kano State Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in its continuous effort to scale up the standard of infrastructure delivery as well as general Socio-Economic well-being of its teeming citizenry, intend to execute the following projects at strategic locations in the State.

However, the application is open to voluntarily formed joined ventures.
2. BIDDING REQUIREMENTS
All interested companies are requested to:
a. Submit a comprehensive document containing the following particulars:
i. Evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2021, 2022 & 2023)
iii. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years.
iv. Technical qualification and experience of key personnel
v. Evidence of financial capability
vi. Evidence of similar projects executed for the last three years
vii. Evidence of work registration with Kano State government
viii. Evidence of registration with the Ministry for Public Procurement, Monitoring & Evaluation
ix. Evidence of compliance with section 6(1) – (3) of the ITF amendment Act No. 19 of 2011 for the last one (1) year.
x. Evidence of recent registration with PENCON
xi. Evidence of recent registration with NSITF
xii. Copy of business premises license
b. Applicants are also required to:
i. Obtain the bidding documents from the office of the Secretary Special Ministerial Tenders Board – Planning, Research & Statistics Department, Ministry of Works and Housing, Kano State.
ii. Submit all bids and other bidding documents in sealed envelope.
iii. Submit a bid security in an amount not less than 3% of the bid price.
iv. Bid security or any other bidding documents will not be accepted when the bidding process has commenced.

3. SUBMISSION OF THE PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENT
Submission of document must be received in sealed envelope which is to be either delivered by hand or registered mail, not later than two weeks from the date of this advert. The document shall be forwarded in an envelope to the address below containing on the top right-hand corner of the envelope. This should be addressed to:

4. EXCEPTION CLAUSES
i. It is worth noting that the process is not bound to consider only the lowest bid, other factors may be reckoned
ii. Ensure that the bids should adequately cover the execution of the works without further demand on Government.
