REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR PROVISION OF CAR HIRE SERVICES

BACKGROUND
Jhpiego Corporation, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to improve the health of women and families throughout the world.
Jhpiego Corporation is seeks reputable and reliable car hire services companies to provide car hire services in Oyo, Ogun, Lagos, Osun, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, River, Akwa-Ibom, Cross-River, Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, Imo, Benue, Nasarawa, Jos, Niger, Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto, Yobe, Adamawa, Taraba, Kogi and Borno State.

The vendor should provide the most competitive rates for their services that will be valid for the next six (6) months, but preferably twelve (12) months where possible. Interested vendors are encouraged to read the entire document to ensure that they have a clear understanding of Jhpiego Corporation requirements before submitting a bid.

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Car hire services in all state inclusive of all local government areas (LGA) using the capital as a take-off point.

QUOTATION SHOULD INCLUDE;
• Quotation for various vehicle types e.g. (Sedan, Space Bus, SUV, etc.)
• Airport drop-off and pick-up
• Hourly rate for various vehicle types
• Drop off rate from Jhpiego offices to each LGA within the states
• Round trip rate from Jhpiego offices to each LGA within the states
• Full-day rate
• Interstate rates (to all state capitals in Nigeria)

2. QUOTATION SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
• The quotation should be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope, with the item being quoted for written boldly on the right-hand side of the envelope.
• Quote must be valid for the next 12 months but preferably twelve (12) months where possible
• Payments terms if different (preferably Net 30 days).

3. ELIGIBILITY
All applicants should provide the following
• Certificate of registration/incorporate, memorandum and articles of association and valid tax identification number (TIN)
• Vendor must be a licensed/authorized vendor for services to be rendered (please provide supporting documentation)
• Company profile (briefly reflecting the core competencies, and key management personnel and clearly stating the physical verifiable office address, mobile number, and e-mail address)
• Proof of or license to offer required services as given by the appropriate regulatory body (if applicable).
• Minimum of three (3) reputable references active within the last three (3) years from clients/organizations
• Note that applicable government taxes will be deducted before making payments for items supplied.
