SPECIFICATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS:
The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to strengthening integrated health systems in low and middle-income countries (LMICs) and expanding access to care and treatment for HIV/AIDS, Malaria, tuberculosis, cancer, and other diseases. Since 2011, CHAI has been actively engaged in Nigeria’s vaccine landscape, focusing on accelerating the introduction of new vaccines and strengthening Routine immunization (RI) and Primary Health Care (PHC) Systems. For more information please visit: http://www.clintonhealthaccess.org

The Nigerian government introduced the HPV vaccine, an effective tool in preventing cervical cancer, between 2023 and 2024 in a phased approach. In October 2023, 16 state (phase 1) introduced the vaccine, followed by the remaining 21 states (phase 2) in May 2024. Multi-age cohort (MAC) campaigns targeted adolescent girls aged 9-14. By June 2024, over 12 million girls had been vaccinated in the country. States have commenced routinization of the HPV vaccine however, there are still contextual challenges limited the full-scale routinization of the vaccines across the states. Currently, about 5 million eligible girls are yet to be vaccinated. To address this gap, CHAI seeks to support the Phase 2 states by intensifying efforts towards vaccinating more girls.

CHAI seeks to partner with a qualified logistics firm to support an engagement meeting with state teams and the intensification of the HPV vaccination in 10 states – Anambra, Borno, Gombe, Kaduna, Niger, Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, Sokoto and Yobe. The organization will collaborate closely with the CHAI team for logistics planning and delivery of these activities.
